Expansion of the Ancona Nord Motorway Toll Station
The expansion works of the Ancona Nord motorway toll station, located in the area of Castelferretti – Falconara Marittima, involved infrastructure upgrades aimed at improving traffic flow and enhancing the overall functionality of the tolling area. The works, carried out by Torelli Dottori S.p.A. on behalf of Autostrade S.p.A., were integrated within the existing motorway network, ensuring its adaptation to operational needs.
The intervention included the construction of new civil works, such as reinforced concrete foundations and structures designed to support canopies and toll booths, as well as the expansion of traffic areas through the formation of roadway platforms and pavements. The works also involved the reorganization of maneuvering areas and the layout of spaces to optimize vehicle routing.
The project was executed within an active infrastructure context, requiring careful planning of construction phases and management of interference with existing traffic, ensuring operational continuity and improved overall performance of the toll station.
