The slope stabilization works in the Rocchetta district, within the Municipality of Sellano, involved interventions aimed at stabilizing an area characterized by geological instability and steep terrain. The works, carried out by Torelli Dottori S.p.A., were designed to secure the slope and protect both the upstream and downstream areas.
The intervention included scaling and cleaning of rocky surfaces, followed by the installation of stabilization systems consisting of steel mesh applied directly to the slope and anchored with rock bolts and steel cables. These measures allow the containment of potential surface detachments and the stabilization of rock masses.
