The intervention concerning the multiplex cinema and retail units in Jesi involved the construction of a complex designed for both cinematic and commercial functions, characterized by a multi-level layout and an integrated spatial organization. The works, carried out by Torelli Dottori S.p.A., included both building construction and the functional components required for entertainment and retail activities.
The complex is developed around a main building volume housing the cinema auditoria, alongside a series of retail units distributed along the façades and lower levels, featuring direct access and dedicated circulation routes. The structure is characterized by open porticoes and loggias that define entrance areas and transitional spaces, as well as large glazed surfaces and façades marked by a clear rhythm of vertical and horizontal elements. The outdoor areas are organized with parking facilities and internal road systems, supporting the management of both vehicular and pedestrian flows.
From a spatial standpoint, the multiplex includes multiple screening rooms, identifiable within a dedicated and recognizable volume of the complex. The retail units on the ground floor are oriented outward, enhancing accessibility and commercial visibility. The intervention involved the coordinated execution of structural works and finishing elements, with the aim of ensuring functionality, durability, and appropriate conditions of use for all spaces.
Overall, the project integrates into the urban context as a multifunctional hub for leisure and retail activities, with a design approach focused on clear spatial organization and the operational efficiency of the complex.
