The construction of the cycle‑pedestrian path in the Baia Flaminia area in Pesaro involved the development of infrastructure dedicated to soft mobility, aimed at improving the usability of the area and the connection between different urban zones. The works, carried out by Torelli Dottori S.p.A. on behalf of the Municipality of Pesaro, form part of the city’s network of cycle and pedestrian routes, contributing to the enhancement of public spaces.
The intervention envisaged the realization of the route using an industrial concrete pavement with a quartz finish, suitable for ensuring wear resistance and long‑term durability, as well as providing a continuous and functional surface for cycle and pedestrian use.
The path follows an alignment adapted to the surrounding context, with widths designed to accommodate both pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Additional works were also carried out, including side curbs, drainage and water management systems, as well as surface finishes and horizontal signage to distinguish between lanes.
The works were carried out in both urban and peri‑urban areas, with particular attention paid to integrating the route with green spaces and existing environments, ensuring functional continuity and the overall quality of the completed infrastructure.
