The consolidation and restoration works of the Castellane Walls in Corinaldo involved the structural and material rehabilitation of significant sections of the historic wall system, affected by deterioration and structural instability. The works included the exposure of the foundations through controlled excavations and the execution of deep consolidation measures, with the installation of vertical structural elements and temporary support systems to ensure the stability of the structure during the construction phases.
At the same time, restoration and integration works were carried out on the masonry, including reconstruction of deteriorated sections and reconditioning of the wall surfaces, in accordance with the original construction techniques and materials. The intervention was completed with the upgrading of the upper areas and spaces adjacent to the walls, improving the usability of the pedestrian routes and their integration within the urban context, thereby enhancing one of the most significant historical assets of the town.
