The intervention concerning the new operational unit and dialysis department of the Civil Hospital in Urbino involved the construction and outfitting of a healthcare building dedicated to clinical and support activities. The works, carried out by Torelli Dottori S.p.A., focused on the realization of a multi-storey structure integrated within the existing hospital complex.
The building, as visible from the images, is characterized by a regular and rational layout distributed over several levels, with continuous horizontal bands of windows ensuring natural lighting to the internal spaces. An external metal stair and service system is positioned along one façade, providing vertical connections and independent access paths. The surrounding areas are organized with access roads and parking spaces, supporting hospital logistics and circulation.
The interior spaces are arranged through corridors distributing multiple rooms with partition systems and technical doors suitable for healthcare environments. The presence of specialized rooms equipped with medical devices and service installations indicates the functional organization required for clinical and dialysis activities. Dedicated technical areas house equipment related to water treatment and building systems, essential for the operation of medical facilities.
The intervention includes the coordinated execution of structural works, internal partitions, finishes, and mechanical systems, aimed at ensuring functional efficiency, hygiene requirements, and operational reliability. The overall project fits within the framework of hospital infrastructure development, providing spaces suitable for healthcare activities and compliant with the technical and regulatory standards required for medical environments.
